mcKenzie “Mac” Kerman is a director AND filmmaker with over 15 years’ industry experience in los angeles and Vancouver BC, serving as an episodic director for the newly released “angry birds: mystery island” on amazon prime And as an animation director on nearly a dozen series.
In 2017, he founded chaos emporium inc., a boutique animation studio with a focus on quality. since its inception, the studio has created multiple hit music videos, animation for an upcoming theatrical feature from sony pictures, and collaborated with vivziepop and spindlehorse on the first season of the smash hit series “helluva boss.” in addition to his rolE as creative director, mac has also managed SCHEDULING, budgeting, and recruiting for all chaos projects as lead producer.
Mac graduated from Calarts in 2010 with a BFA in animation and is a dual us-canadian citizen. he is a small dog enthusiast and thinks about the roman empire often.
