A new 3D show for Netflix, my Dad the Bounty Hunter featured 2D animated flashback sequences set in the mid-‘90s. to match the era, These sequences were animated in a 2d ‘90s anime-inspired style. I served as animation and comp director, taking great care to achieve an authentic look with everything from the motion/timing and linework as well as a hint of vhs distortion for good measure.
